The first New Moon of 2022 is on Jan. 2nd at 11:33 am MST and both the sun and moon are in the sign of Capricorn. This is the time to make plans and set goals for the upcoming year. Capricorn is a bit more cautious, more serious, more grounded, more determined, so that aids in the planning AND in the implementation of what is to come. An exact trine to Uranus brings optimism, intuition, and a sense of freedom.

A full moon is a time of bringing things to completion, and this particular full moon has us focusing on our home, family, and intimate relationships. This full moon is also trine Jupiter, which brings good luck, optimism, prosperity, and happiness. Goodwill and generosity are prominent at this time.
