Full Moon in Cancer/Capricorn on Jan. 17th, 2022

On Monday, January 17th at 4:48 pm, Arizona time (MST). This is also known as the Wolf Moon by many, due to the fact that wolves can be heard howling at the moon at this time of year. This particular full moon has us focusing on assessing our complex emotions, which often arise with a Cancer moon. We have done so much since the new moon to keep our focus on what we are wanting to accomplish, and it’s now time to look at our feelings. Feel your feelings, especially the difficult ones, but then release them, and fill with what you’d prefer to be feeling. Remember to forgive often and not let your thoughts get the better of you. This is also a great time to focus on home, family, relationships, and things like cooking and gardening, and putting down roots and getting settled into life.

Mercury is also going retrograde on Friday, January 14th, and will be retrograde until the beginning of February, so pay attention to your communications, and really center and be clear and tactful when speaking.

Also, please set aside the date for our Imbolc ceremony that is on January 29th at 5:00 pm AZ Time (MST) on our Druids of the Light Facebook Live page. You will be able to watch the replay if you are unable to make the actual ceremony.

Blessings of the Full Moon to you!

Imbolc – the Tender Promise of Spring

Imbolc marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This is a time of hope and beauty, an appreciation of the warmth of hearth and family, and the tender promise of Spring, when life is born anew.

Brighid’s Cross in Kildare

Come and join Druids of the Light as we acknowledge this gentle, loving season of newness in a traditional way with a sacred sharing of candlelight and poetry, as we honor Brighid, the triple goddess of healing, inspiration, and hearth. We will be meeting on Facebook Live on Saturday  afternoon, January 29th, 2022 at 5:00 pm, to celebrate this gentle time of promise. The ceremony is approximately 30 minutes long. Suggested love offering of $10.

New Moon in Capricorn on Jan 2nd, 2022

The first New Moon of 2022 is on Jan. 2nd at 11:33 am MST and both the sun and moon are in the sign of Capricorn. This is the time to make plans and set goals for the upcoming year. Capricorn is a bit more cautious, more serious, more grounded, more determined, so that aids in the planning AND in the implementation of what is to come. An exact trine to Uranus brings optimism, intuition, and a sense of freedom.

You can watch the video to find out more.

Also, save the date! Our Imbolc ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 5:00 pm MST. Hope you can join us! More on that will be forthcoming soon.

Full Moon in Gemini/Sagittarius on Dec. 18th, 2021

This full moon is on December 18th, 2021 at 9:35pm AZ time (MST). A full moon is a time of bringing things to completion, and this particular full moon has us focusing on our home, family, and intimate relationships. This full moon is also trine Jupiter, which brings good luck, optimism, prosperity, and happiness. Goodwill and generosity are prominent at this time.

Here is the link to the video:

And please remember to join us for the Winter Solstice ceremony on Facebook Live on our Druids of the Light Facebook page at 4:00 pm AZ time. We will be doing a working associated with this full moon.

Blessings of the Full Moon to you and yours. Happy Holidays to you!

New Moon in Sagittarius on Dec. 4th 2021

The New Moon is this coming Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 12:43 AM Arizona (MST) time. Sagittarius is optimistic – philosophical, adventurous, and a time to be aware of our inner calling. This is also a time of a Solar Eclipse, which is paired with a number of aspects that may be quite intense. Remember to stay grounded, emotionally balanced, and be aware of your communications with others, as well as paying attention to your inner guidance, which is leading you into greater wisdom.

Finally, stay tuned for more information about our Winter Solstice ceremony on Facebook Live on December 18th at 4:00 pm. This is also the day of the next full moon, so the ceremony will be incorporating ways to work with that energy.

Blessings of the New Moon to you!

Winter Solstice Ceremony

The Winter Solstice is a solemn time, when we acknowledge the longest night. It is a time of introspection and profound beauty. As the seasons turn, it is also a time of celebration, as from this time forth in the wheel of the year, the light returns and the days grow longer.

Come and join Druids of the Light in acknowledgement of the darkness and the return of the light. We will be meeting on Facebook Live at 4:00 pm on Saturday evening, December 18th, 2021. The ceremony is approximately 30 minutes long. Suggested love offering of $10.

Full Moon in Taurus/Scorpio on Nov 19, 2021

The Full Moon is exact on Friday, November 19th at 1:57 AM MST (AZ Time). This is a time of endings and beginnings both because it is a full moon, as well as the time of year that it takes place. This is also a partial lunar eclipse, so that needs to be considered. It’s a significant eclipse, with 97% coverage of the moon, so this particular full moon is bringing intensity and volatility as secrets are uncovered, and a shifting of values, especially around money. Remember to stay aligned with your highest guidance and and set intentions for living from Love and Light.

Also stay tuned, as our next Facebook Live ceremony is for the Winter Solstice, coming up on December 18th. More about this soon….

New Moon in Scorpio on Nov. 4, 2021

On Thursday, November 4th at 2:14 pm AZ time, the Sun and Moon will both be conjunct in Scorpio. This new moon brings an intensity of emotions and a deepening. It’s a time of endings and beginnings, so it is a great time to go within, do your inner work, let go of anything that isn’t serving, and begin to reinvent yourself. Explore your depths, your passions, and deepest desires.

In a few days, from this post, it will be Samhain. Just a reminder that our Samhain ceremony is on Saturday night at 4:30 pm AZ time. Feel free to join us on the Druids of the Light Facebook page, or watch the replay at your convenience.

Blessings of this season of endings and beginnings….. Happy Celtic New Year!
