I am here today to talk to you about this New Moon period we are beginning in the early morning on Wednesday, June 25th at 3:32 AM Arizona time (PDT).

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, and on June 25th they are both in the sign of Cancer. The new moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and Cancer emphasizes a loving appreciation for hearth and home, recognizing the importance of family as well as a sense of belonging. There is a sensitivity and tenderness around Cancer energy which can make you more vulnerable, so do be aware that you may, at times, lean more towards a sense of safety and retreat.

This New Moon in Cancer often brings you a such a sense of safety related to your home and family. You may be prone to emotional fluctuations and vulnerability, as Cancer energy is naturally also very sensitive and emotional. Cancer season offers us an opportunity to see more clearly how the past still impacts our present and how important it is to nurture our inner child.
