I am here today to talk to you about this Full Moon period we are beginning in the morning on November 5th at 6:19 am (Mountain Standard time). So, it will be full on November 5th at 8:19 am EST.
This is known as the Beaver Moon, as this is the time when the beavers work tirelessly, fortifying dams before the rivers froze solid. It may also be called the Freezing Over Moon because of that. Other names include the Whitefish Moon, the Leaf Fall Moon, the First Snow Moon, and a few others for obvious reasons. Because the Moon is in Taurus, it emphasizes the beaver’s art of patience and tenacious creation. It’s a time of slow and steady growth, and a time to prepare wisely and protect what matters most.
We have a Full Moon when the sun and moon are considered in opposition. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is in Scorpio & the Moon is in Taurus, exactly opposed the Sun on Nov 5th at 6:29 MST. The Scorpio energy has you looking at the deepest parts of yourself and gives you the keys to unearth your deepest desires. This, combined with the steady, practical Moon in Taurus, allows you to be rational and to focus on getting things done a step at a time as you prepare for the future.

Please note that our Samhain ceremony is online on November 5th, and replays will be available on Facebook Live for 30 days, after which the videos are posted on YouTube for you to watch. And a link to that will be posted here. There will be a Full Moon working within the ceremony.
Wishing you wonderful Samhain blessings as well as Full Moon blessings just a few days after Samhain.
