I am here today to talk to you about this Full Moon period we are beginning in the afternoon on Wednesday, April 1st at 7:12 PM (PDT) as well as the New Moon period on Friday, April 17th at 4:52 AM (PDT).
This Full Moon is known as the Pink Moon due to the appearance of early spring wildflowers. It’s a marker of rebirth, renewal, blossoming, and the courage to step into growth. It reminds us that growth doesn’t need to be forced. Like Spring itself, it arrives naturally when conditions are right. It’s a time of hope, optimism, and a gentle confidence in what is unfolding.
We have a Full Moon when the sun and moon are considered in opposition. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is in Aries & the Moon is in Libra, exactly opposed the Sun on April 1st at 7:12 PM PDT.
The signs of Aries and Libra give us the culmination and promise of fulfillment. You find that this is a time to find a balance between meeting our personal needs and also attending to the needs of others. The Libra Moon is diplomatic and fair-minded, and it may be a time when you have epiphanies about relationships.
Watch the video to learn more about the aspects, and also more about the New Moon on April 17th.
Also, in case you missed it, our Spring Equinox video is also posted here on YouTube, and also on the Druids of the Light website.
Blessings of this Moon season to you!
