This is known as the Flower Moon due to the profusion of blooming flowers during this time. It’s a time of fertility, growth, and renewal. It’s a time to honor the vibrant energy of the season as life flourishes around us. It’s a time of light-hearted blossoming and creativity after the hardships of winter, a celebration of love and the unfolding of a vibrant life.

We have a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are opposed Astrologically. At this time, the Sun is in Taurus and the Moon is in Scorpio, exactly opposed on May 12th at 9:56 am PDT. The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, and Taurus encourages groundedness, stability, and a connection to the physical world. It’s also about appreciating your inherent value.

This New Moon invited us to slow down and digest everything we have experienced during March and the first weeks of April. Taurus extends an invitation. To deepen our receptivity, spend more time in Nature, and to appreciate what we have. It’s a time to savor each moment, and find pleasure in simple gestures. It’s a time to build new foundations and appreciate the here and now. This is the season where we feel more settled and feel an urge to lay down some roots for the future, as we nurture and water the seeds planted so that our intentions manifest.

This represents the end of one Lunar Cycle and the beginning of the next. Astrologically both the Sun and the Moon are in the same astrological sign, and on March 28th, they are both in the sign of Aries. The new moon is a time of new beginnings, and Aries is all about courage, confidence, assertiveness, and taking action, so you may be prone to be more enterprising, taking charge of your life, and trying new things.

This New Moon in Aries is also a Solar Eclipse which brings even more energy and powerful opportunities to start fresh and leave the past behind. It’s a time of both personal and collective evolution, transformation, and growth. The Full Moon period begins late on Thursday night at 11:55 pm (Pacific Daylight Time).

This is known as the Worm Moon. As Nature wakes up from Winter’s sleep, the earth warms up and becomes softer. The increase in temperature brings worms out of hibernation as they crawl to the surface. It is also known as the Crow Moon or the Blood Moon. Life feels full of wonderful discoveries and the future beckons with bright prospects.

We have a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are in opposition. Astrologically, this means the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at this time, the Moon is in Virgo and the Sun is in Pisces. This particular Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse, which adds an intensity to this period. The challenge is recognizing what needs attention and what needs letting go. Pay particular attention to health and wellness, your daily self-care, and your mental energy. It’s a time of cosmic-reset – purging and letting go of anything that no longer serves your highest good. Spring Equinox   …a Time of Balance and New Beginnings           

Spring Equinox marks the time of balance between the dark time and the light time, winter and summer, night and day; a time of rebirth, of planting seeds.  Come and join us as we celebrate the exuberance of Nature as she bursts forth to receive the warm and penetrating Sun in the creation of new generations.

This New Moon period is beginning mid-afternoon on Friday, February 27th at 5:45 Arizona time (MST).

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, and on February 27th, they are both in the sign of Pisces. The New Moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and with the sensitivity and imagination that comes with the Piscean energy, you may find yourself in a sea of visions, empathy, and tuning in to higher consciousness more readily.

This New Moon in Pisces can inspire a renewed connection to the mystery, & encourages us to trust the process of life.
