The Summer Solstice is the time of the longest day, a time when the sun shines brightly upon us all. It is also the time of the shortest night, marking the turning of the year towards the dark times. In Arizona, the Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate the rains to come and to pray for our good harvest.

This New Moon period begins on Monday, May 26th, and is exact at 8:02 PM PDT (Arizona time).
This represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of a new one. The May Full Moon is exact on May 12, 2025 at 9:56 am Arizona time (Pacific Daylight time).
This is known as the Flower Moon due to the profusion of blooming flowers during this time. It’s a time of fertility, growth, and renewal. It’s a time to honor the vibrant energy of the season as life flourishes around us. It’s a time of light-hearted blossoming and creativity after the hardships of winter, a celebration of love and the unfolding of a vibrant life.
We have a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are opposed Astrologically. At this time, the Sun is in Taurus and the Moon is in Scorpio, exactly opposed on May 12th at 9:56 am PDT. It’s an opportunity to bring deeper emotions to the surface and doing your inner work, exploring your deeper emotions, and forgiving yourself and others. It’s a time to Know Thyself, and open to your intuition. The Taurean energy gives you strength to release old beliefs and bring you to an emotional rebirth.

The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, and Taurus encourages groundedness, stability, and a connection to the physical world. It’s also about appreciating your inherent value.
This New Moon invited us to slow down and digest everything we have experienced during March and the first weeks of April. Taurus extends an invitation. To deepen our receptivity, spend more time in Nature, and to appreciate what we have. It’s a time to savor each moment, and find pleasure in simple gestures. It’s a time to build new foundations and appreciate the here and now. This is the season where we feel more settled and feel an urge to lay down some roots for the future, as we nurture and water the seeds planted so that our intentions manifest.

The April Full Moon is on April 12th at 5:22 PM PDT (Arizona time).
This is known as the Pink Moon due to the delicate pink blooms of wildflowers that often appear in the Northern hemisphere at this time. This April Full Moon invites us to embrace renewal and harmony while reflecting on the beauty of nature’s cycles. This particular Full Moon is a “cosmic spring cleaning” for your soul. It mirrors resilience and transformation, reminding you that even in the toughest seasons, you can rise, flourish, and begin anew.
We have a Full Moon when the sun and moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is in Aries and the Moon is in Libra. This is a perfect time to embrace new possibilities, emotional growth, and creative expression. It’s time to soften your heart, embrace vulnerability, and move forward with grace. It’s a time of harmony and balance, a time of fresh starts, and a cue to pause, realign, and bring beauty and balance back into your world. Libra symbolizes balance and beauty, and Aries symbolizes purposefulness, responsibility, and the ability to get things done. Together, with prudence and strength, combined with compassionate understanding, there is a good chance that situations are impacted positively.

This is known as the Worm Moon. As Nature wakes up from Winter’s sleep, the earth warms up and becomes softer. The increase in temperature brings worms out of hibernation as they crawl to the surface. It is also known as the Crow Moon or the Blood Moon. Life feels full of wonderful discoveries and the future beckons with bright prospects.
We have a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are in opposition. Astrologically, this means the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at this time, the Moon is in Virgo and the Sun is in Pisces. This particular Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse, which adds an intensity to this period. The challenge is recognizing what needs attention and what needs letting go. Pay particular attention to health and wellness, your daily self-care, and your mental energy. It’s a time of cosmic-reset – purging and letting go of anything that no longer serves your highest good. Spring Equinox …a Time of Balance and New Beginnings
Spring Equinox marks the time of balance between the dark time and the light time, winter and summer, night and day; a time of rebirth, of planting seeds. This New Moon period is beginning mid-afternoon on Friday, February 27th at 5:45 Arizona time (MST).
This also represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another.
