This New Moon period begins on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at 4:57 am MST.

This represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, both the Sun and Moon are in Capricorn. This is a time of new beginnings and a time to set your intentions for the month to come. Capricorn is resourceful, disciplined, ambitious, and prudent, all of which will assist you in achieving your intentions. This is the perfect opportunity to make decisive moves.

Push yourself out of your comfort zone and start building towards a spiritually fulfilling future. This may call for patience, hard work, and discipline, but it will be worth it. Capricorn is very rational and practical and will help you to focus on long term goals. Sometimes reasonable boundaries and rules will release worry so you can focus on what matters.

So, after a month, I realized I haven’t been getting enough response to have classes, so I decided to postpone classes for a few months. I am thinking I will try again in the spring. But it would be helpful to see what kind of interest there is in attending these classes. So, if you ARE interested, let me know, and I will be sure to contact you with details. 

I will most likely be doing these classes online, and people can join in the class online, or purchase the replay after the fact. 

Just so you know, we are following the Study Program which is outlined on the website. 

We will be doing classes in sections…. so, for example, the first section is BASIC information, and that will take 5 weeks. After that, each topic will be covered in classes. I expect the classes to last 60-90 minutes each week.

The idea is that you can pay $20 per class, or you can get a section for $75 each, or the whole class portion of the initiate’s program for $275. You get to choose which level you would like.*

The December Full Moon is on December 26, 2023 at 5:33 pm MST.

This is known as the Cold Moon due to colder weather and the desire to hunker down in the warmth of your home with family and friends. It also related to the longest night of Solstice.

This full moon has the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn. Cancer tends to be emotional and sensitive so do watch your feelings. It’s a good time to compassionate to others as well as yourself. Capricorn, on the other hand, is responsible and productive, so this will help you to get things done often for the benefit of others.

Make a note that our Winter Solstice ceremony was on December 16^th on Facebook Live and the video is still available to watch both on Facebook and YouTube. As for classes, we haven’t had much interest, so we are pausing it for now, and maybe will resume with something in the Spring.

The New Moon is in Sagittarius on December 12, 2023 and is exact at 4:32 pm MST.

The New Moon is traditionally a time of new beginnings so this is a great time to start a new chapter and see things from different perspectives as you set your intentions for the month to come. This New Moon is about optimism, expansive viewpoints, and maybe even some travel as you enthusiastically explore new ideas.

This New Moon has a strong aspect to Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, and it is currently in Taurus which may help you dream big and yet ground some of those new ideas. Mars is also conjunct the moon which may make you a bit impulsive, so that groundedness may help you quite a bit.

We are FINALLY resuming our weekly Druid classes as of November 28th, 2023, They will be every Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm at Crystal Magic Psychic Center in Sedona.

This is a study group dedicated to a deep and rich understanding of the Druid Path. It is open to the public and those new or experienced with earth-based studies. We will cover both beginning to advanced topics from various sources, including the history of the Druids based on mythology and archeological discoveries, the cycles of Nature and how to apply them in our own lives, and some of the deeper sacred practices and ceremonies that are still applicable today.

The address is 2970 W SR 89A, across from the Green Tree Inn, and next to the Crystal Magic store.

We are also hoping to make it possible for people to attend online via Zoom. We will be doing a test run for the first class, so if you are interested, let us know and we will let you know what next steps will be to attend remotely.

This Full Beaver Moon begins early Monday morning, November 27th at 2:16 am MST (AZ time). This is known as the Full Beaver Moon as beavers are plentiful and preparing for the cold Winter to come.

Astrologically, the Sun and Moon are in opposition at a Full Moon and at this time, the moon is in Gemini and the Sun is in Sagittarius. This lends itself to communication and spontaneity. However, there is also a restlessness that needs to be considered. Also the Sagittarius Sun Carrie’s the potential for exaggeration and embellishment, so be as diplomatic as possible when dealing with others.

This New Moon is exact on November 13th at 2:27 am MST (AZ time), and both the Sun and Moon are exactly conjunct at that time in the sign of Scorpio.

The New Moon is a time of new beginnings. So it’s a great time to set intentions by journaling, meditating, and visualizing the future. The New Moon in Scorpio is emotional and introspective so do take time to delve into your feelings as deep as possible. It’s a great time to do your inner work and clear out old wounds, fears, and triggers. Scorpio is the sign of transformation and rebirth so it’s a great time to make some deep changes in your life.

Mars is conjunct this New Moon less than an hour after it is exact, and that may provide you with a strong drive to do what you need to do to move forward.

I am still trying to find a platform to offer these classes online also, but I am not very techie, so if anyone has any suggestions to a solution that is affordable and easy, I would love to hear them!

The Full Hunter’s Moon is on October 28th, 2023, and it is exact at 1:24 pm PDT (Arizona time).

The Hunter’s Moon is about preparing for the winter to come by stocking up with the last of the harvest.

The Sun and Moon are in opposing astrological signs: Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus. This is also aligned with a Lunar Eclipse which adds a level of intensity to this Full Moon. Taurus is usually associated with security and self-worth, and Scorpio is more about death and rebirth.

It’s a time of transformation and renewal and things may change. Often, these changes ultimately lead to more joy.

1. Our Samhain ceremony is also on October 28th, just a few hours after the full moon is exact. We will be meeting on Facebook Live on the Druids of the Light page at 4:30 pm. Join us if you can or watch the replay later.
2. We are resuming Druid classes. Starting November 28th, we will be holding Druid classes on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm AZ time (MST at that time), at Crystal Magic Psychic Center in Sedona. We are still exploring how to also do this online, and when that is straightened out, I will be posting more about it here.
