New Moon in Taurus on April 30th, 2022

This new moon in Taurus is exact at 1:28 pm AZ time (PDT). Due to the groundedness of Taurus, this Black moon emphasizes our self-worth, our material possessions, and our physical environments. We may see many opportunities in these realms and Taurus helps us to stay steady amidst the shakeups. This is also the first solar eclipse of this year which may bring lots of change. Be ready for unexpected opportunities to be presented. This is also a time of fertility and balancing the masculine and feminine and a time of purification, due to the association with Beltane.

Full Worm Moon in Virgo on March 18th, 2022

This Full Moon, also known as the Worm Moon is full of optimism, hope, and new beginnings.

A full moon is a time of bringing things to completion, and this particular full moon is both rational AND romantic. Virgo-Pisces has us focusing on feeling safe with order and clarity, and letting go of that which no longer serves us. Oftentimes we feel an impulse to organize everything – thus, Spring Cleaning. It is also a time of new beginnings, of course. Time to plant seeds – literally or figuratively – and to harness your focused energy towards your goals.

Here is a link to the video which will tell you more about this Full Moon:

Also, please note that our Spring Equinox Ceremony is on Saturday, March 19th at 5:30 PM on the Druids of the Light Facebook page, using Facebook Live. The video will be saved if you are unable to tune in at that time, so you can watch it later.

Blessings to you!

New Moon in Pisces on March 2, 2022

As of March 2nd, the Sun and Moon are both in Pisces, the sign of two fishes swimming in opposite directions, a sign known to be sensitive, intuitive, and dreamy.

The new moon is a time of fresh starts, and planting the seeds of intention since it is the beginning of the new lunar cycle. The new moon in Pisces is a great time to commit to personal goals that express the sign of the Fish – taking leaps of faith, putting aside time for peaceful, rejuvenating activities, and sharing our dreams with others.

Because of the sensitivity and perceptiveness, Piscean Moons also often have us experiencing feelings of insecurity, and being somewhat passive. Use this time to access your imagination as you engage in creative and spiritual pursuits.

Full Snow Moon in Leo on February 16th, 2022

A full moon is a time of bringing things to completion, and this particular full moon has us focusing on emotions – romance, fertilization, and relationships in general. Leo Moon is more focused on creative self-expression, whereas the Aquarian Sun is more focused on groups, impersonal friendships, and objectivity. So, this is truly a time to strike a balance between romance and friendship, as well as expressing ourselves in both personal and more impersonal ways.

New Moon in Aquarius on Jan 31st, 2022

As of 10:46 pm MST on Jan 31st, the Sun and Moon are conjunct in Aquarius, a sign known to be independent and unifying in many ways.

The new moon is a time of fresh starts, and planting the seeds of intention since it is the beginning of the new lunar cycle. The new moon in Aquarius is a time to conceive new ideas and start new projects. Aquarius is the sign of the humanitarian, so this is a time to seek out people who support your goals and visions and find ways to collaborate.

Aquarian Moons also often have us thinking outside the box so get creative with the ideas that may come up and look to the future with a brand new, positive, and hopeful vision. Make a commitment to recognize the value of connection with others. This particular new moon is right at the end of Mercury Retrograde, so again, it’s a great time to set intentions to move forward.

Full Moon in Cancer/Capricorn on Jan. 17th, 2022

On Monday, January 17th at 4:48 pm, Arizona time (MST). This is also known as the Wolf Moon by many, due to the fact that wolves can be heard howling at the moon at this time of year. This particular full moon has us focusing on assessing our complex emotions, which often arise with a Cancer moon. We have done so much since the new moon to keep our focus on what we are wanting to accomplish, and it’s now time to look at our feelings. Feel your feelings, especially the difficult ones, but then release them, and fill with what you’d prefer to be feeling. Remember to forgive often and not let your thoughts get the better of you. This is also a great time to focus on home, family, relationships, and things like cooking and gardening, and putting down roots and getting settled into life.

Mercury is also going retrograde on Friday, January 14th, and will be retrograde until the beginning of February, so pay attention to your communications, and really center and be clear and tactful when speaking.

Also, please set aside the date for our Imbolc ceremony that is on January 29th at 5:00 pm AZ Time (MST) on our Druids of the Light Facebook Live page. You will be able to watch the replay if you are unable to make the actual ceremony.

Blessings of the Full Moon to you!
