New Moon in Scorpio on Nov. 19th, 2025

I am here today to talk to you about this New Moon period we are beginning in the evening on Wed., Nov. 19th at 10:47 PM Arizona time (MST).

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle & the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun & Moon are in the same sign. On Nov. 19th they are both in the sign of Scorpio. The New Moon is usually a time of new beginnings, & this time emphasizes meaningful emotional exchanges, shedding what no longer serves, & planting seeds for a more empowered and soulful future.

This New Moon in Scorpio emphasizes connecting with your intuition & realizing that emotions run deep and may surface at this time. It is a time of transformation & healing. This is a deep and powerful New Moon; voices of deeper wisdom can now be heard. It is a good time to prepare for some long-term decisions. There may be some possible upheavals but you should be able to integrate them constructively. It’s also a really good time to rest, recharge, &/or to take a retreat of sorts.

Several aspects are at work including Mercury going retrograde.

Please note that our Samhain ceremony was on November 1st, and is available to watch on Druids of the Light’s Facebook page until the end of November. You can also watch it on YouTube after that.

Blessings of this New Moon to you!

Full Moon on Nov. 5th

I am here today to talk to you about this Full Moon period we are beginning in the morning on November 5th at 6:19 am (Mountain Standard time). So, it will be full on November 5th at 8:19 am EST.

This is known as the Beaver Moon, as this is the time when the beavers work tirelessly, fortifying dams before the rivers froze solid. It may also be called the Freezing Over Moon because of that. Other names include the Whitefish Moon, the Leaf Fall Moon, the First Snow Moon, and a few others for obvious reasons. Because the Moon is in Taurus, it emphasizes the beaver’s art of patience and tenacious creation. It’s a time of slow and steady growth, and a time to prepare wisely and protect what matters most.

We have a Full Moon when the sun and moon are considered in opposition. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is in Scorpio & the Moon is in Taurus, exactly opposed the Sun on Nov 5th at 6:29 MST. The Scorpio energy has you looking at the deepest parts of yourself and gives you the keys to unearth your deepest desires. This, combined with the steady, practical Moon in Taurus, allows you to be rational and to focus on getting things done a step at a time as you prepare for the future.

Please note that our Samhain ceremony is online on November 5th, and replays will be available on Facebook Live for 30 days, after which the videos are posted on YouTube for you to watch. And a link to that will be posted here. There will be a Full Moon working within the ceremony.

Wishing you wonderful Samhain blessings as well as Full Moon blessings just a few days after Samhain.

New Moon in Libra on Oct. 21st, 2025

I am here today to talk to you about this New Moon period we are beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 21st at 5:25 AM Arizona time (PDT).

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, and on Oct. 21st they are both in the sign of Libra (although the Moon enters Scorpio 3.5 hrs later @ 8:42 am.) The New Moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and this time emphasizes harmony, balance, and beauty. It’s a great time to better understand relationship dynamics.

This New Moon in Libra is a very positive, loving reset. It’s time to realign your life with justice, balance, and beauty. It’s time to come home to a sense of equilibrium. It’s a great time to plant seeds of cooperation and peace, justice in decisions, & more creativity on how to live our lives. Balance is a dance of give & take, so that too is an important reminder during this time. Sowing seeds of peace & understanding is a major consideration at this time.

Aspect-wise, there is a lot of back-and-forth energies at work.

Also, please note that our Samhain ceremony will be online on Druids of the Light Facebook page on November 1st.

Blessings of this New Moon to you!

Samhain Ceremony on November 1st

Samhain is a sacred time when we welcome the turning towards winter, the last of the harvest celebrations, and the half way mark between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. It is also often considered to be the beginning of the Druid New Year. We honor our ancestors at this time when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest.   Come and join Druids of the Light in a very special Ancestor Rite in honor of Samhain, followed by a special blessing to carry us into the coming year.  We will be meeting on Facebook Live at 4:30 pm on Saturday evening, November 1st, 2025. The ceremony is approximately 30 minutes long.

Full Moon in Aries-Libra on Oct 6th, 2025

The Full Moon is on October 6th at 8:48 pm Pacific Daylight Time.

This Full Moon is known as the Harvest Moon as it is the first Full Moon after the Autumn Equinox. Because the Moon is in Aries, it’s time to take initiative and decisive action. It’s a time to prepare for winter, as well as spending time in deep reflection and self-care. Balanced with the Libra Sun brings in an awareness of relationships and connections.

This is a passionate and fiery libation that can lead to breakthroughs involving relationships, finding the balance between self and others, and to find true harmony through an awareness of alignment and refinement.

There are several aspects at work.

I’ll be back again before the New Moon on Oct. 21st to tell you more.

In the meantime, if you would like a psychic soul readings and/or counseling in person, by phone or Zoom, I am at CMPC mostly on Mondays and Fridays. Contact us at CMPC to find out more.

Blessings of this Full Moon to you!

Autumn Equinox ceremony

We can now view our ceremonies on YouTube after 30 days on Facebook Live. This is our Autumn Equinox video for this year, in case you missed it.

Autumn Equinox is a time of balance, a time when day and night are equal in length, and a time of turning inward as we contemplate the coming winter. It is also a time to express gratitude for all of the abundance and blessings that have come our way in the past year.

Thank you for watching. Happy Autumn to you.

Samhain ceremony will be on November 1st.

New Moon in Virgo on September 21st

Hi, I am Linda Mae, and I am here today to talk to you about this New Moon period we are beginning on Sunday, Sept. 21st at 12:54 PM Arizona time (PDT).

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, and on Sept. 21st they are both still in the sign of Virgo (although the Sun enters Libra 2 hrs later @ 2:41 pm.) This is also the second New Moon in Virgo this year. The new moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and as we mentioned during the last Virgo New Moon, this time emphasizes a level of groundedness, order, and clarity, as well as healthiness. It’s a great time to do some de-cluttering.

This New Moon in Virgo brings in new stories that will be in our lives for a long time – new jobs, new family ties, new alliances. This is partially due to the fact that it is also a Solar Eclipse, which serves as a powerful opportunity to make such new alliances. It’s a time to align our daily routines with our deepest values and shed outdated beliefs, and a renewed sense of clarity and freedom.

One of the most significant aspects of this New Moon is that on Sept. 19th, Venus enters also enters Virgo, and squares Uranus in Gemini a day later. This opens you to new ideas and a spirit of discovery.

There are many other aspects at work.

Watch the video to learn more.

Also, be aware that our Autumn Equinox ceremony is on Facebook Live on the Druids of the Light page on September 20th at 5:00 pm PDT, the day BEFORE this New Moon, so of course we will also be including a New Moon working as part of the ceremony. Feel free to join us online or watch the replay, which will be available on Facebook for 30 days, and it will also be uploaded to YouTube before it is no longer on Facebook.

Sending beautiful New Moon blessings to you!

Full Moon in Pisces-Virgo 090725

I am Linda Mae, and I am here today to talk to you about this Full Moon period we are beginning in the early morning on Sept 7th at 11:09 am (Pacific Daylights Savings time). So, it will be full on Sept 7th at 2:09 pm EDT.

This is known as the Corn Moon and sometimes the Blood Corn Moon because this full moon will be seen as a haunting red color. The Corn Moon is symbolic of the time to gather the final harvests of summer. It is a gentle, grounding full moon that encourages slowing down, expressing gratitude, and reconnect with your body and your own deeper truth. Traditionally named by Native American tribes, it’s a symbol of abundance and the culmination of hard work and it invites us to celebrate the fruits of our labor. This is also known as the Harvest Moon, which links it to the Autumn Equinox, a time of extra light for farmers to tend to their crops in the evening. It is also known as the Barley Moon and Wine moon, reflecting the ripening of these various crops.

We have a Full Moon when the sun and moon are considered in opposition. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this Full Moon, the Sun is in Virgo & the Moon is in Pisces, exactly opposed the Sun on Sept 7th at 11:09 am PDT. It’s a time to focus on the essentials. Pay special attention to the thought patters you allow to take hold, especially if they trigger doubts ad fears Consciously avoid stress or arguments and treat yourself to long moments of silence instead. The Pisces energy brings in more intuitive knowings and sensitivity, so it truly is a good time to clear & release that which no longer serves you. It’s a time to connect spiritually, in such ways as meditation, journaling, and soul searching. Embrace your creativity and focus on inner healing.

I also want to let you know that our Autumn Equinox ceremony will be on Sept 20th at 5:00 pm. There is a flyer included a few posts back, but just wanted to remind you.

Feel free to contact me with any questions your comments you may have.

Blessings of this Full Moon to you!
