Full Moon in Capricorn-Cancer on July 21st, 2024

This Full moon is on July 21st at 6:08 pm, PDT (Arizona time).

This is known as the Buck Moon due to new bucks growing their antlers at this time of your. It’s also sometimes called the Thunder Moon due to many thunderstorms at this time of year, and also the Hay Moon as the farmers get ready to start harvesting hay to be stored for the winter.

When we have a full moon, astrologically, the sun and moon are in opposing signs. At the time of this full moon, the Sun is in the final degrees of Cancer and the Moon is in the final degrees of Capricorn, and exactly opposed at 6:08 pm. Cancer has to do with family and home, compassion and caring, whereas Capricorn is more about structure and responsibility. Pay attention as things arise and take on challenges with grace and positivity whenever possible.

You may be prone to some emotional fluctuations. Both the Sun and Moon are in Cancer which is a water sign, and that brings in more sensitivity. Learn to forgive and forget in order to avoid depression or thinking too much about things. As you use your emotional sensitivity in a positive way, you can bring more of a sense of comfort and safety as you embrace new beginnings.
