This Full Moon period is beginning on Wednesday evening, December 7th at 9:08 pm AZ (MST) time. Also known as the Cold Moon, it marks the turning point when things have reached their coldest and darkest, meaning things can only get brighter.

Astrologically, the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and at the time of this full moon, the sun is in Sagittarius, and the moon is in Gemini. This particular full moon will bring about a time of both reflection and looking ahead, which is quite fitting with the close of the year – and thus, the meaning of the Cold Moon… A time for introspection and soul-searching, and a chance to recharge and reconnect. The moon in Gemini reflects feelings of duality and curiosity, and we will likely be feeling the need to express our true selves. Gemini also expresses a playful side of us – the social butterfly – and this will help us to keep things light even under pressure.
