October 2026 Moon Season

I am here today to talk to you about this moon phase, beginning with the New Moon on Saturday, October 10th at 8:50 AM PDT, and then the Full Moon on Sunday, October 25th at 9:12 PM PDT.

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle & the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun & Moon are in the same sign. On October 10th, they are both in the sign of Libra. This New Moon is related to balance and harmony. You probably will prefer to keep things nice, but it may be necessary to share both your good and bad feelings at times. Remember to respect yourself and take care of you! This will help with more peace in the long run.

We start October with a T-square between Mercury in Scorpio, Mars in Leo, and Pluto in Aquarius. This is exact on Oct 2-3rd. There are other aspects at work too, Venus goes retrograde, and the Sun opposes Saturn. It causes these few days to be very unpredictable. Choose your words carefully. Then on Oct 7th, Mercury meets Venus, which helps to make things right again.

The New Moon on October 10th helps clarify conversations and the honoring of yourself and others. This opens to you to rekindling the fire of Love and Creativity.

Then, on October 16th, Mars trines Saturn, and Pluto turns direct. Do your inner work and notice the breakthroughs that come through. Sometimes setting clear boundaries is necessary and constructive.

On October 20th through the 25th, there are a few aspects at work – squares between Venus and Pluto brings an intensity and yet a nice balance with others. Then on the 23rd, the Sun enters Scorpio, and there are a few other aspects at work. Again, as I previously mentioned, transforming issues really demands honesty with yourself and others, and that can really help change things.

The Full Moon in Taurus is exact Sunday evening, Oct 25th at 9:12 pm opposed the Sun in Scorpio. This full moon offers us a chance to contact a wild, inner force that allows you to open yourself to these energies that lead you closer to your own personal and transpersonal reboots, thus enriching your life.

At the end of the month, you need to remember to get to the roots of any previous conflicts and gain more clarification. But also, be careful and conscious with your words, and give yourself a break if you feel overloaded. Sometimes that is truly necessary before you move on.

This brings us in to the next Moon Phase in November, which I will be talking about next month.

Blessings of this October Moon Season to you!
