I am here today to talk to you about this June moon phase, beginning with the New Moon on Sunday June 14th at 7:54 PM PDT, and then the Full Moon on Monday June 29th at 7:57 PM PDT.

This also represents the end of one lunar cycle & the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun & Moon are in the same sign. On June 14th, they are both in the sign of Gemini. The New Moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and this particular New Moon brings in a sense of spontaneity and change. You may be more talkative and speak more at ease with others, as well as with harmony.

This New Moon emphasizes a sense of curiosity and fresh perspectives. It’s a good time to open yourself up to new ways of thinking. It’s a great time to make connections, spark conversations, and bring forth a more outgoing version of yourself. It’s a wonderful time to let the words flow.

Just before the Full Moon, on 6/29, Mercury goes retrograde, which as we know, can confuse communications of any kind. So do be aware of this. Mercury will be retrograde until July 23rd.

This moves us into the Full Strawberry Moon, known as such due to the ripening of strawberries at this time of year. Also sometimes called the Blooming Moon or the Green Corn Moon. The Full Strawberry Moon is on June 29th, at 4:57 PM PDT, where we find the Sun in Cancer and the Moon opposing the Sun in Capricorn. It’s an opportunity to recalibrate your direction in life. It’s time to pay more attention to responsibility, career, and the structures in your life. What’s working, what needs more discipline, and what needs a more solid foundation are things to consider at this time. You may be feeling a lack of self-worth, so remember not to seek approval from without, but work with your own self and trust your inner values.
