The ceremony was wonderful, even though only one person attended. Due to COVID-19, I didn’t exactly expect a crowd. In any case, we welcomed the season of Spring, the time of rebirth.
I could say much more about COVID-19 and may do so in a following post, but just wanted to share some pictures with you from the ceremony!
Spring Equinox marks the time of balance between the dark time and the light time, winter and summer, night and day; a time of rebirth, of planting seeds….Come and join us as we celebrate the exuberance of Nature as she bursts forth to receive the warm and penetrating Sun in the creation of new generations.
We will be meeting at the Unity of Sedona Peace Park (back lawn area) on Saturday afternoon, March 21st, 2020 at 5:00 pm, to honor this time of new growth and innocence.
The ceremony is approximately 45 minutes long, and there will be a time of socializing after the ritual. Please feel free to bring light snacks to share.

What an amazing time at Pantheacon. I was a part of the Family of Druidry Hospitality Suite, and we really had a great time – lots of visitors, lots of questions, and it seems that the five Druid groups did very well together! I also really enjoyed many of the talks, which were more in alignment with Druids of the Light than I ever expected to be so…. about the Oneness we share and how we are shaping the future. Imbolc marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This is a time of hope and beauty, an appreciation of the warmth of hearth and family, and the tender promise of Spring, when life is born anew.
Come and join Druids of the Light as we acknowledge this gentle, loving season of newness in a traditional way with a sacred sharing of candlelight and poetry, as we honor Brighid, the triple goddess of healing, inspiration, and hearth.
We will be meeting at Unity of Sedona on Saturday afternoon, February 1st, 2020 at 4:00 pm, to celebrate this gentle time of promise.
You may bring poetry to share, or you can choose from the selection of poems that will be provided.

After much thought, we have cancelled our weekly classes at Unity of Sedona. We will be holding monthly workshops, starting in February after Pantheacon at two locations – one is at the new Crystal Magic Psychic Center in West Sedona, and the other is at Orenda Nest at the Cottonwood Plaza in Cottonwood. We will keep you informed what we will be presenting and when.
In the meantime, you may want to take advantage of the fact that I will be providing Psychic Soul Readings at both locations. I am at Crystal Magic Psychic Center on Tuesdays from 3:30-closing, and Thursdays from 10:00-3:30. I am also at Orenda Nest on Mondays from 1:30-4:30.
As always, I am available to do phone readings, and I am still able to schedule readings to be held at Unity of Sedona when I am not at either of these locations.
And stay tuned…. I am looking to do more online, and within the next few months, I may be doing weekly classes. I am currently researching that.
Finally – I will be at Pantheacon in San Jose this year. This is the last year that Pantheacon will be held. I am part of the Family of Druidry suite, and will be presenting a class as well as being available to speak (and yes, I will have my cards with me!). The Winter Solstice is a solemn time, when we acknowledge the longest night. It is a time of introspection and profound beauty. As the seasons turn, it is also a time of celebration, as from this time forth in the wheel of the year, the light returns and the days grow longer.

We have resumed our weekly Druid classes at Unity of Sedona. They are on Monday night at 6:00pm in the Chapel. We have been meeting for three years now, and it is very exciting to be continuing this wonderful time of camaraderie and learning. This week, we talked about the symbolism Samhain, and the origins of Halloween. We also did a brief ceremony for the ancestors. We introduced the topic of Moon Phases by talking about the New Moon and how we can use that energy for manifesting. And we showed slides of the British portion of our recent trip.
Next week and the week after, we will be focusing more on the Moon, as well as showing slides from Ireland and Scotland.
We had an amazing trip to England, Ireland, and Scotland in the first two weeks of October. It was a very ambitious trip and we were able to see several sacred sites. This was a planning trip for future tours, and we sure learned a lot. In the future, the tours will be concentrated to certain areas. We are hoping to get something together as early as Spring 2020, so stay tuned.
We visited the following sites: In England: Tintagel, St. Nectan’s Glen, Glastonbury – Chalice Well, Glastonbury Abbey, and the town itself, Stonehenge, Avebury. In Ireland: Newgrange, Brigid’s Well in Kildare, Cnoc Aine, Lough Gur’s newly excavated Grange Circle, Bunratty Castle, Hill of Tara. In Scotland: Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish borders, Rosslyn Chapel and Rosslyn Castle.
