New Moon in Aries on March 21st

This New Moon period begins on Tuesday, March 21st at 10:23 am PDT.

This represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of the next one. Both the Sun and moon are in Aries. And this is a time of new beginnings in many ways.

The Moon in Aries is a great time to commit to personal goals and to take action. Try something new and innovative and be assertive and confident as you dive in headfirst to a bright new future.

This New Moon is the start of a new chapter in your life as well as in the collective.

Blessings of beautiful new beginnings for all!

Full Moon in Virgo-Pisces on March 7th

The Full Moon is on March 7th, 2023 at 5:07 am MST. This is also known as the Worm Moon due to the appearance of earthworms as the soil warms with the coming of Spring.

Astrologically, the Moon is in Virgo and the Sun is in Pisces. It’s a time to find a balance between the order and routines of the grounded Virgo Moon and the visionary, spiritual Pisces Sun … a balance between work and service, practicality and intuition. It’s a great time to take action on your passions.

This Full Moon coincides with the Sun, Mercury, and Neptune all in the water sign of Pisces. We are more sensitive to emotional undercurrents and the allure of fantasy, yet the Virgo Moon keeps us practical.

New Moon in Pisces on February 20th

The New Moon period begins February 20th, 2023 at 12:06 am MST.

The Sun and moon are both in the early degrees of Pisces, a time of new beginnings in many ways. The Moon in Pisces has the greatest sensitivity and perceptiveness of surroundings, and you will benefit from the great imagination of Pisces. The daydreaming energy can be described as warm, empathetic, and creative. Keep the faith and put time aside for peaceful and rejuvenating activities.

Also, our Imbolc ceremony is still available on our Druids of the Light Facebook page. And our Spring Equinox ceremony will probably be on March 18th. I’ll let you know when I have more details.

Full Moon in Leo-Aquarius on Feb 5th

This full moon period begins on Sunday, Feb 5th at 11:29 am MST. It’s known as the Snow Moon due to February being the snowiest month. People tend to decrease activity at this time of year, and think about the future. We are reminded that there is a light in the darkness.

With the Sun in Aquarius, we are still feeling a sense of lightness and humanitarianism. The Moon in Leo brings love, creativity, and fun. Together, we just want to have a good time, and sometimes that’s the best thing we CAN do. Follow your heart.

Please also be aware that our Imbolc ceremony is on Saturday, February 4th at 5:00 PM MST. We will be doing a Full Moon working during this ceremony. Feel free to join us on Facebook Live on the Druids of the Light Facebook page, or watch the replay in the future.

New Moon in Aquarius on Jan 21st

The New Moon is Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at 1:53 pm AZ time (MST). Both the Sun and Moon are in Aquarius which adds excitement and uniqueness to our projects.

It’s a time for teamwork and humanitarianism, so seeing the big picture and connecting with others is key. This is also a time for healing and transmutation., so we hold space for ourselves as well as for the entire world. As we heal, so the world heals.

Mercury is direct again as of Jan 18th so communications will improve. There are also favorable aspects to Jupiter, Mars, and Pluto which brings optimism and enthusiasm.

Imbolc – the tender promise of Spring

Imbolc marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This is a time of hope and beauty, an appreciation of the warmth of hearth and family, and the tender promise of Spring, when life is born anew. Come and join Druids of the Light as we acknowledge this gentle, loving season of newness in a traditional way with a sacred sharing of candlelight and poetry, as we honor Brighid, the triple goddess of healing, inspiration, and hearth.  We will be meeting on Facebook Live on Saturday afternoon, February 4th, 2023 at 5:00 pm, to celebrate this gentle time of promise. The ceremony is approximately 30 minutes long. Suggested love offering of $10.

Full Moon in Cancer-Capricorn on January 6th

The full moon is Friday, January 6, 2023 at 4:08 pm MST. This Wolf Moon is about self-reflection, gratitude, and Magic. It’s a time of fresh new beginnings. Be open to inspirations and be kind to others.

For this Full moon, the Sun is in Capricorn and the Moon is in Cancer. With the Sun in Capricorn, we are still quite practical and focusing on security and empowerment. The moon in Cancer is more caring and brings up feelings and sensitivity, especially around home and family. Take care of yourself. Be forgiving of yourself and others. And recognize your place in the Great Family of Humanity. This is the reason you are here.

Winter Solstice and New Moon blessings

Today, December 21st is the beginning of Winter Solstice. It’s a blessed time of year when we experience the longest night and then the return of the Light. If you haven’t watch our Winter Solstice ceremony, you can still find it on Facebook, under videos, on the Druids of the Light page. Unfortunately, the new FB pages don’t allow me to pin it to the top like I used to, but you CAN still find it. (Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot put the ceremonies on YouTube, so this is the best I can offer – that will probably change in 2023). But you can try this FB link: https://www.facebook.com/druidsofthelight/videos/715387429755843

I wish you a wonderful Winter Season, and send lots and lots of blessings to you!

The New Moon is on December 23rd, so I also want to send you the New Moon video, which is also on Facebook, but also here.

This New Moon period is beginning Friday afternoon on December 23rd at 3:17 am AZ Time (MST). The New Moon represents the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in the same sign, and on December 23rd they are both in Capricorn. The new moon is usually a time of new beginnings, and this New Moon gives you an ideal time to ground yourself (Capricorn is an earth sign), establish boundaries, and as with most new moons, and also the on the verge of a new year, it’s a great time to set your goals into motion. Because of its position in the industrious sign of Capricorn, you can expect a welcome spark for your ambitious side. The period of Capricorn in the cycle of the year manifests the goals that move us forward in the path of life, towards the fulfillment of our soul mission, and a desire to be useful to society in some way. Now is the perfect time to visualize what you want, and map out a plan that will get you there, especially with the balance of assertiveness and gentleness. Watch the video to learn more.

Blessings of this illustrious season to you! Happy Holidays!!!
