Full Flower Moon in Scorpio on May 15th, 2022

The Full Moon period that we are beginning on Sunday night, May 15th is exact at 9:14 pm AZ (PST) time. This is also known as the Flower Moon, which is traditionally representing the time of the year when flowers are in full bloom all over the place. The days grow longer and temperatures grow warmer and all of nature is celebrating. It is also in the spirit and energy of Beltane, the season we are currently experiencing since May 1st. This is a time of love, laughter, celebration, and pleasure!

We have a full moon when the sun and moon are considered in opposition. Astrologically, this means that both the Sun and Moon are in opposing signs, and right now, the sun is in Taurus until May 20th, when it enters Gemini at 6:23 pm AZ time. And although the Moon is in Scorpio for this full moon, it will be exiting Scorpio on just a few hours later on May 16th at 4:50 am (AZ time). A full moon is a time of bringing things to completion, and this particular full moon is set to wash away negative energies to make room for more positive energies, especially in areas of healing, abundance, and prosperity. It’s time for US to blossom and to grow. Allow the Light of awareness to assist us in ridding ourselves of shame, guilt, and embarrassment through self-reflection. This is a time to see ourselves in a whole new Light (The light of the Full Moon).
